1. Swabbing

Before testing begins, the pipework is thoroughly cleaned to remove debris and trapped air, helping to ensure effective disinfection and reducing the risk of failed samples.

2. Pressure Testing

We carry out pressure testing to confirm the pipework is fully sealed, leak-free and compliant before the chlorination process begins.

3. Chlorination

A carefully controlled chlorine solution is introduced into the system to eliminate bacteria and ensure the pipework is hygienically clean.

4. Flushing

Following chlorination, the system is flushed to remove chlorinated water and restore normal operating conditions ready for sampling..

5. Sampling

Water samples are collected in accordance with industry standards and submitted to UKAS-accredited laboratories for analysis.
